It is a mandatory requirement for all schools and Nurseries to be responsible for the servicing of building assets on their site, for the safety and protection of children and school staff. This includes managing a regular program of servicing and testing, and collating and maintaining an active record of certification as evidence. Every Aspect Maintenance Services, through their council wide contracts are able to include school service contracts within their wider program of planned maintenance, providing schools with a lower cost and stress free solution. Works will depend on the type and number of assets within the building, and therefore it is essential that schools provide an update of any new equipment to ensure it is included within the program.
Service contracts will cover Asbestos Surveys/Re Inspections, Air Conditioning Plant Service and Inspection, Air Handling Filters, Fire Alarm Servicing, Intruder Alarm Servicing, Emergency Lighting Servicing, Fire Fighting Equipment testing, Electrical Installations Testing, Pat Testing, Boiler Servicing, Heating System Servicing, Bending-Mixer Valve Servicing. Gas Safety Testing,
Play Equipment Inspection.
Costs for Fire Risk Assessments/Re Inspections and ‘Legionella’ Risk Assessments required in 2017/18 will be provided in advance of the due date and will be an addition to the quoted SLA cost.
Emergency and Reactive Repairs
Every Aspect Maintenance Services operate a help-desk, to respond to any system failure, fault or site emergency. Contractors will attend site as a priority and do all they can to ensure the school is open and operational. Works required will be quoted directly to the school at competitive rates through Every Aspect Maintenance Services.
School Improvement Projects – Feasibility Advice and Project Management
Every Aspect Maintenance Services professional staff have the expertise for all of your building requirements. Included within the SLA is free impartial technical advice, whether over the phone, or requiring a site visit. Should schools be keen to proceed with a project, Every Aspect Maintenance Services are able to fully manage the project from feasibility and design through to completion, letting contracts and ensuring quality, efficiency and ongoing maintenance is taken into account. Initial advice is included within the SLA costs, with fee quotations provided for each project. For future asset management and statutory compliance it is essential that schools notify Every Aspect Maintenance Services when any building and/or engineering work is carried out by alternative consultants and contractors.
